ISBN

If you consider your book project on commercial terms, your book sales may benefit from having an ISBN (International Standard Book Number). An ISBN may be obtained from the ISBN Agency.

The information you submit for your book when requesting an ISBN is entered into a worldwide book database. This information enables anyone who's looking for your book in the database to get in contact with you — provided the ISBN data is up to date, i.e. if you change address, you should notify the ISBN agency so they can update your book's data.

If you prefer, we can assign one of our ISBN to your book. The advantage is that our ISBN have a publisher's prefix, whereas a single ISBN you request will have a self-publisher's prefix which sometimes hinders sales.

An ISBN is not required if you only print a very limited edition, for instance to give away to your family members.
